Love Yourself.

Hello all my lovelies! For those of you who know me and know my blog you would probably get the vibe that I am all for self-confidence and empowering yourself to do your best and just be happy with yourself. I strive everyday to set a good example of confidence for those around me but everyone can sometimes have those moments where you just want to hide but you can't let moments like that control you. I have no idea where this post is going so this is just going to be kind of a ranty post. I can't stand to hear girls that talk badly about themselves. I think that confidence is something that we all lack and that needs to change. I think that this whole low self confidence thing starts at a very young age and I hate that because I have two younger sisters and I see it begin to start in their lives too; the constant question of if I am skinny, pretty, smart, or sexy enough. When we are all little we idolize Barbies and Princesses and we know that those are beautiful things. So when we see ourselves as youngsters we are already comparing ourselves to those things and that just drives me crazy to hear my 7 year old sister say to herself "I am fat." Little girls then grow up dealing with that constant pressure of being compared to what they played with growing up and then they start comparing themselves to others which is something I am totally guilty of. I will see like a really skinny girl in a swimsuit and I am like "Wow I wish I could like that" But the more that I realize who I am the more I am realizing that I am perfect the way I am and I am the way I am for a reason.

I want to be able to look at myself and smile because I am happy to be who I am, am I there yet? Not quite and that's just apart of life; accepting yourself and loving yourself for who you are. I think that if more people were able to be confident in themselves we wouldn't have to worry about things like eating disorders and depression.  We as women {and any men who read my blog} need to stand up for ourselves and realize that we are all beautiful no matter what is on the outside. If we could all accept ourselves the world would be such a better place. Confidence is key I believe to being happy and successful. To love yourself is not a crime people!! Yes there is a level of confidence that can become slightly cocky but even that at least that person is happy with who they are. Are you craving pizza? GET SOME PIZZA. If you want to go for a run? GO FOR A RUN. Do what you want to do and do what makes you happy!! Treat yourself every once in a while and buy yourself that dress from Jcrew you've been eyeing for weeks!! Its your life!! Do not let anyone tell you what you want to do!! I cannot deal with people who let others run their lives for them. YOU need to own your life and make yourself happy always no matter what. There is this quote that I always read and it says "SHE LOVED HER LIFE AND IT LOVED HER RIGHT BACK" So just being happy with yourself is going to make everything so much better because you're going to feel good and look good and its just going to be great. Loving yourself is so important okay?! OKAY.

I am planning on posting a video along with this post talking more specifically about how you can be more confident but once again you never know what could happen maybe my camera will get lost again.....

I love you all and you all are perfect.

Birthday Party Outfit & Target Update

Hey ladies heres another outfit of the night for yall! Tonight I am sporting a super cute and super simple black romper that I got from Target paired with my favorite JCrew sandals and my favorite stack of bracelets! I am so excited for all the cute summer things Target has! If you guys haven't been to your closest Target recently then you should for sure go and check it out so many cute rompers and sundresses and tanks that are perfectly in fashion for this season. I would say that the items are very boho which is very in right now. There are lots of floral patterns and lots of loose more flowy things. I absolutely love it! Also for those of you who are also in love with the pom pom trend they have shorts, rompers and dresses with pom poms on the trim of them, so cute! I hope you all are enjoying your Thursday night!

Until later,

Out of School & Back to the Blogger Grind!

GOOD NEWS! I have completed my sophomore year of high school! I took my last two finals today and I am back full time for blogging. My outfit is for sure ready for the summer...but the weather in Cincinnati was 56 today...you gotta take what it gives though. I am really looking forward to a summer of fun and lots of blogging of course! Today I wore some skinny jeans from the gap with my favorite top ever which is also from the gap and I have one in almost every color....then I am wearing my jacks and to top it all off I added some fun random bracelets from all different places! I hope you are all enjoying your first few days of summer and for those of you still in school. Don't worry you're almost there!
